Meeting With Angela Constance
Today we were visited by Angela Constance, Cabinet Secretary for Communities, Social Security and Equalities with the Scottish Government. We shared our thoughts on the process so far and our hopes for changes within the city, changes around mental health, money and stigma. We heard really moving words and a poem from Ethel - love the big hug she received afterwards! We had a great discussion with Ms Constance and look forward meeting with her again at the end of the process.

Reached a Pivotal Point
We've been working away quietly for the last few months, listening to people's personal experiences of poverty in Dundee. The Commissioners have been magnificent!
Last night we came to a pivotal point in the process, we decided our 3 main themes, and will now focus on them for the next 8-10 months. We have 3 working groups who will explore ways we can bring change in Dundee, change informed by those with experience and implemented by those with influence.
